<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD JUNE 4, 1973 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said <br />Village on June 4, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. The following members <br />were present: <br />Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Anderson, Brennan <br />Curley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Curley MOved that the following resolution <br />be approved for adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLtITION NO. 5982 <br /> <br />1^.TJ-IEREAS, safety on our streets and highways is a primary <br />concern of the citizens of Roseville and <br /> <br />WHERPAS, it is imperative that we provide for the safety <br />of our school children traveling to and from their schools; <br /> <br />.AND WHEREAS, Fairview Junior High School, Brimhall <br />Elementary School and Corpus Christi School are located on a strip <br />on County Road B; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Council <br />of the Village of Roseville, hereby urges Ramsey County to install <br />signs on County Road B between Fry Street and Cleveland Avenue and <br />Fairview Avenue between Skillman and County Road B, warning the <br />operators of motor vehicles of the many students in the area. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Member Brennan and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor of the resolution: <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
