<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, County <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the12 th day of Sept , 1994 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, and <br /> <br />V. Johnson, and the fonowing were absent: None. <br /> <br />Goedeke <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9102 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />REVISING THE TEXT AND LAND USE MAP DE SIGNA TIONS <br />OF THE EXISTING PLAN ADOPTED IN 1979 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act of 1976 the City of Roseville <br />is required to prepare a city comprehensive plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, in 1979, adopted a plan entitled "City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan", which was reviewed and approved by the Metro Council, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established a comprehensive plan review and has assisted by <br />further authorizing a citizen survey (1990) and Community Visioning Process (1992), entitled VISTA <br />2000, with over 100 citizen volunteers, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed amendments closely follow the VISTA 2000 citizen <br />recommendations adopted by the City in 1993, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held over 15 public study meetings and 5 public <br />hearings on the issues within these amendments, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has adopted the recommendations and revisions to the <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan, after a public hearing held on August 10, 1994, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have invited comment and provided <br />legal notice to all affected adjacent communities and all property owners within 350 feet of any land <br />use map change, now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, the City ofRoseville City Council hereby approves and adopts the 1994 <br />amendments (and appendices and adoptions by reference) to the City ofRoseville Comprehensive <br />Guide Plan, subject to review and comments of the plan by the Metropolitan Council, <br />
