EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD JULY 23, 1973 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, July 23, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Brennan, Grauel and Anderson and the following were absent: None Member Anderson and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLtITION NO. 5993 WHEREAS, certain members of the Roseville Police Department have joined Local 320 IBT and certain members of the Roseville Street Division of the Public Works Depart- ment, certain members of the Roseville Utility Division of the Public Works Department, and certain members of the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department, have joined Local 49 of the International Operating Engineers; .AND WHEREAS, the Village Council has recognized the above two URion organizations as the sole representative for those employees who have joined the above lUlions; .AND WHEREAS, these unions are represented by Business Agents; .AND WHEREAS, the Village Council is desirous of maintaining proper relationships with the above named unions and their respective Business Agents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in the negotiations to be conducted between Local 1~0 IBT and Local 49 of the International Operating Engineers, that the Village Council appoint the Village Manager or his agent, to be the Village representative in ~ and all forthcoming negotiations for the year 1974. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Grauel and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted ln favor thereof: All present
