<br />v <br /> <br />Resolution No. 60 <br /> <br />Adopted August 17, 1954 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 8, 1954, the Village of il.oseville adopted a JIIOtion that <br /> <br /> <br />the question of establishing an on-sale liquor store be submitted to a <br /> <br /> <br />vote of the people at a primary election and, <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is no provision in the state law for the submission of tre <br />same to a vote of the people, and <br />WHEREAS, the Attorney General has ruled that the Village does not even have <br />authority to incur expenses for such a vote. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Village of rtoseville hereby resolves that the action <br />taken by the Village on June 8th to submit the matter to a vote of the <br /> <br />people at a primary election is hereoy rescinded. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
