<br />is directed to publish and mail notice that the Council will meet <br />to consider the proposed assessment on August 30, 1973, at the <br />Village Hall, 2701 North Lexington, in the Village of Roseville, <br />at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The notice shall state the date, time and <br />place of the meeting, the general nature of said improvement, <br />the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assessment <br />roll is on file with the Manager, and that written or oral objec- <br />tions thereto by any property owner will be considered. It shall <br />be published in the official newspaper of the Village at least <br />once, and shall be mailed to the owner of each parcel described in <br />the assessment roll, not less than two weeks prior to the date of <br />said meeting. For the purpose of such mailed notice, owners of <br />said parcels shall be those shown as such on the records of the <br />County Treasurer. Every property owner whose name does not appear <br />on such records (other than owners of property which is tax exempt <br />or is taxed on a gross earnings basis) shall be deemed to have <br />waived such mailed notice unless he has requested in writing that <br />the County Treasurer include his name on the records for this purpose. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilman Anderson, and upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
