<br />5. The same persons who acted as judges at the last general <br />election in the Village are hereby appointed judges for <br />the election provided for herein. After the polls close, <br />the judges shall forthwith lock the voting machines, <br />read and announce the votes on the proposition submitted <br />as shown on the public counter. The judges shall there- <br />after enter the results of the statements of canvass, sign <br />the certificates required by law, and deliver the state- <br />ments of canvass to the Village Manager. <br /> <br />6. Said election shall be held and conducted in accordance <br />with the statutes of the State of Minnesotaapplicable, <br />and the Council shall meet as required by law for the <br />purpose of canvassing said election and declaring the <br />results thereof. <br /> <br />7. The Council shall meet as a canvassing board on November <br />, 1973, at 0'c1ock, .m. at the Village <br />Hall, to declare the results of the election appearing <br />from the returns and to take such further action as <br />shall then be deemed necessary and expedient. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resultion was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilman Brennan and upon a vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resultion was declareo duly passed and adopted. <br />
