<br />EXTRACT OF MINlJfES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE mUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESarA <br />HELD - OCTOBER 29, 1973 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey COlmty, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington <br />Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on tybnday, the 29th day of October, <br />1973, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Brerman, Curley, Grauel and Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Linebarger introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLlITION NO. 6043 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County on September 20, 1973, officially <br />opened the new County Road C from Lexington Avenue <br />to Dale Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since September 21, 1973, eight (8) automobile <br />accidents requiring police reports have occurred at <br />the intersection of Lexington Avenue and County <br />Road C; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing accidents resulted in injuries to <br />thirteen (13) persons and extensive property damage; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the safe circulation of traffic is of prime importance <br />to the residents of Rosevil1e; <br /> <br />NOW, lliEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Cotrrlcil of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby urges the <br />Ramsey COlmty Board of Commissioners to use emergency <br />funding for the immediate installation of semaphore <br />signals at the intersection of County Road C and <br />Lexington Avenue, and further requests the temporary <br />installation of a four-way stop at the intersection <br />until the signals can be erected. <br />
