<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />HELD - NOVEMBER 19, 1973 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North <br />Lexington, Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, November 19, <br />1973, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Brennan, Grauel and Anderson <br /> <br />and the following was absent: Councilman Curley <br /> <br />Member Brennan introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUfION NO. 6049 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County on September 20, 1973, officially <br />opened the new County Road C from Lexington Avenue to Dale Street; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, since that date there has been one accident <br />at that intersection requiring a police report; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the setting at this intersection is similar to <br />the one at Lexington Avenue and County Road C, where nine accidents <br />involving significant personal injury and extensive property <br />damage have occurred; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS preventive safety measures may eliminate future <br />bodily injury; <br /> <br />NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby urges the Ramsey County Board <br />of Commissioners to install four-way stop signs at the intersection <br />of County Road C and Victoria. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />
