<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESarA <br />HELD - December 10 1973 <br />, <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village ColIDcil of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said <br />Village on Monday, December 10 1973 at 7:30 P.M. <br />, <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />COlIDC i lrnen Graue 1, Anderson, Brennan, Cur ley <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Cur ley <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOUITION NO. 6053 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota, did <br />approve on May 21, 1973, House File 217, Chapter 464 of the 1973 <br />Law relating to the Village of Roseville Firemen's Relief Association <br />Service Pensions by amending Laws 1965, Chapter 598, Section 1, Sub. 1, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville and the Firemen's Relief <br />Association both desire that one further change be made in the language <br />now embodied in Chapter 464; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village COlIDcil of the <br />Village of Roseville, that the State Legislators representing the <br />Village of Roseville be requested to introduce legislation in the 1974 <br />Session to amend Laws 1973, Chapter 464, Section 2, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"The Village COlIDcil shall have a power by ordinance <br />to increase the service pensions authorized by Section 1, <br />for twenty (20) years service to a maximum of $180 per <br />month plus $9.00 per month for each year of service in <br />excess of twenty (20) years up to a maximtun of $270 per <br />month. Such ordinance if enacted shall apply to members <br />retiring pri~r to or after the effective date of the <br />ordinance an nO-increase shall be granted lIDless justified <br />by an actlR"ial survey." <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by member Brennan and upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present <br />
