EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD December 10, 1973 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Purusant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village Hall at 2701 North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on Mmday, December 10 ' 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Grauel, Anderson, Brennan and Curley and the following were absent: None Member Curley and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 6054 WHEREAS, the 1973 Legislature in Minnesota Laws, Chapter 661, Sections 1 and 2, did amend Section 15 A, 20, Subdivision 1 and 3, of the Minnesota Statutes by increasing the legal mileage allowance from 10~ to l5~ per mile; AND WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota and other major employers in the Twin Cities area now pay 12~ per mile for use of private vehicles on official business, and M-lEREAS, the Internal Revenue Service allows the deducation of 12~ per mile for use of a privately used vehicle on employer's business; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, that effective January 1, 1974, the mileage allowance paid to employees using their vehicles on official business will be increased from 10, to l2~ per mile. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Brennan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against same: None M-lEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
