<br />RESOLUTIDN NO. c; t> 1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELDHNARY REPOIlT) APPROVING PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISmlENT FOR BIDS THEREON RELATING <br />TO LONG LAKE ROAD n:PROVEtilENT <br /> <br />\Vi-IEREAS) pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council on <br />September 5) 1962) the Village Engineer has prepared a report with <br />reference to the improvement of Long Lake Road between the inter- <br />sections of County Road B 2 and County Road C) dated September 9) <br />1962) and this report has been received by the Council on September 10) <br />1962) and the Village Engineer has also prepared plans and specifications <br />for said proposed road improvement and has presented such plans and <br />specifications to the Council for approval. <br /> <br />NOW) 1HEREFORE) BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village <br />of Roseville) >Iinnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications are hereby ordered accepted and filed. <br /> <br />2. Pursuant to r~.S.A. 429.031) the Council also deems it necessary and <br />feasible) prior to the holding of any public hearing in connection <br />with said proposed inprovement) that accurate costs and construction <br />data be received and hereby authorizes and directs the Village Clerk <br />to prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rose Tribune) the official <br />Village newspaper) and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement <br />for bids upon the making of such improvement) under such approved plans <br />and specifications. <br /> <br />The advertisement shall be published as required by law and shall <br />specify the work to be done) shall call for the bids upon the basis of <br />the cash payment for such work) on the base bid and shall state that the <br />bids will be opened and considered by the Council) September 24) 1962) <br />in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall.
