EXTRACf OF MINlITES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MI},NESOTA HELD - April 8, 1974 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Mmday, April 8, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Hess, Brennan, Curley ancl.,Demos and the following were absent: None Member Curley introduced the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 6087 WHEREAS, International Athletic Events promote better international understanding among nations and among people; and 1VHEREAS, the Roseville AAU Wrestling Club will have a match wi th the Finnish Wrestling Team from Helsinki on April 10, 1974, at Kellogg High School; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, extends a warm welcome to the Finnish Amateur Wrestling Team and hopes that the Team's stay in Roseville and in the United States will be an experience that will provide the Team with many lasting associations and will be a small step in the direction of closer ties between all our people. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by COlmcilman Demos and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
