EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD AUGUST 26, 1974 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pur$Uant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City of the 26th day of August, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Hess, Curley, Demos and Brennan and the following were absent: None Member Brennan resolution and moved its adoption: introduced the following RESOLUTION NO. 6147 WHEREAS, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, has approved payment to Judge Jerome Franke in the amount of $949.56 and to the Minnesota State Retirement System in the amount of $4,472.91 to cover the cost of the Judge's buy-back of prior years service for pension purposes; and WHEREAS, a transfer of funds from the equity of the Contingency Fund to the Operating Account of the Employees Pension Fund is necessary to cover the increased 1974 pension costs; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosevil1e, that $5,422.47 be transferred from the equity of the Contingency Fund to the Operating Account as follows: Fund Increase in Appropriation Decrease in Appropriation Employees Pension Contingency $5,422.47 $5,422.47 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hess and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
