<br />s. The judges shall be those as appointed by the City <br />Council for the primary and general elections of <br />1974. After the polls close, the judges shall <br />forthwith lock the voting machines, read and <br />announce the votes on the proposition submitted <br />as shown on the public counter. The judges shall <br />thereafter enter the results of the statements <br />of canvass, sign the certificates required by <br />law, and deliver the statements of canvass to the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />6. Said election shall be held and conducted in accordance <br />with the statutes of the State of Minnesota applicable, <br />and the Council shall meet as required by law for the <br />purpose of canvassing said election and declaring the <br />results thereof. <br /> <br />7. The Council shall meet as a canvassing board on November <br />6 , 1974, at 5:30 o'clock L.m. at the City Hall, <br />to declare the results of the election appearing from <br />the returns and to take such further action as shall <br />then be deemed necessary and expedient. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />Brennan <br /> <br />and upon a vote being <br /> <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
