<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE - HELD <br />SEPTEMBER 16, 1974 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, September 16, 1974, <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br /> <br />Councilmen Curley, Hess and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Demos <br /> <br />Member Brennan introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6165 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville office space located at <br />2701 North Lexington Avenue, is inadequate for properly handling <br />city activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to make certain that <br />supplemental leased space will be available on January I, 1975, in <br />the event that the bond referendum should fail; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, that the Mayor and Manager are authorized to sign a three <br />(3) year lease with cancellation privilege for 7502 square feet of office <br />space located at 2575 North Fairview Avenue with rental payments to <br />become payable starting January 1, 1975. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Curley and upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted in favor of the resolution: <br /> <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and <br />adopted. <br />
