EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSb'VILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD September 30, 1974 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on the 30th day of September, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Brennan, Curley, Demos and Hess and the following were absent: None Councilman Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6167 WHEREAS, based on the probable inequities in the compensation level for Code Enforcement Officers in the Public Works Department, a Classification and Compensation Study by consultants of the League of Minnesota ~llnicipalities was commissioned; and i~ffiREAS, that study has now been completed with the conclusion that two distinct job classifications exist in the Code Enforcement Division and require some adjustment in compensation to be made in order to maintain internal consistency and consistent standing with salaries paid throughout the metropolitan area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REffiLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that the wages for the following job classes be established retroactively to January 1, 1974: Code Enforcement Officer Community Code Officer $1,160 per month 1,130 per month AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $3,036 be transferred from the equity of the Contingency Fund to the General Fund as follows to cover the adjustment: Fund Increase In Appropriation Decrease In Appropriation General Fund Code Enforcement Div. $ 3 ,036 Contingency Fund $3,036
