<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ROSb'VILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD <br /> <br />September 30, 1974 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held at the City Hall in said City on the 30th day of September, <br />1974, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Brennan, Curley, Demos and Hess <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Councilman Curley introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6167 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the probable inequities in the compensation <br />level for Code Enforcement Officers in the Public Works Department, a <br />Classification and Compensation Study by consultants of the League of <br />Minnesota ~llnicipalities was commissioned; and <br /> <br />i~ffiREAS, that study has now been completed with the conclusion <br />that two distinct job classifications exist in the Code Enforcement <br />Division and require some adjustment in compensation to be made in order <br />to maintain internal consistency and consistent standing with salaries <br />paid throughout the metropolitan area; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REffiLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, that the wages for the following job classes be established <br />retroactively to January 1, 1974: <br /> <br />Code Enforcement Officer <br />Community Code Officer <br /> <br />$1,160 per month <br />1,130 per month <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $3,036 be transferred from the equity <br />of the Contingency Fund to the General Fund as follows to cover the <br />adjustment: <br /> <br />Fund <br /> <br />Increase In <br />Appropriation <br /> <br />Decrease In <br />Appropriation <br /> <br />General Fund <br />Code Enforcement Div. <br /> <br />$ 3 ,036 <br /> <br />Contingency Fund <br /> <br />$3,036 <br />
