EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD October 21 1974 * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 21st day of October, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Demos, Hess and Brennan and the following members were absent: None Member Curley and moved its adoption: introduced the following Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 6176 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THF. PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING AND MAINTAINING A PARK FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE IN- STITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the City to acquire the fOllowing described land for park purposes for said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville has been advised by competent advisers and committees that the following described real property is desirable to acquire as a park; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota the City has the power to take and acquire such property by eminent domain; NOW I THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
