<br />Resolution No. 62 <br /> <br />Adopted October 5, 1954 <br /> <br />WH~REAS, the Vil12ge Louncil of the Village of Roseville has, in response <br />to a petition received for the installation of a six inch watermain on <br />Stuber Road, Alarooda Street and .'oma Avenue, instructed the Village Engineer <br />to prepare plans and specifications for this improvement and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these plans have been approved by the Village Louncil, the State <br />Health Department and the City of St. Pal;l Water Department and the Clerk <br />has been oraered to advertise for bids for this work by private contractors <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it shall become necessary for the City of St. Paul Water Department <br />to install the connections to their present 36 inch main located in Water <br />Works R.oad at the intersection of said road with Stuber Road and with Roma <br />Avenue ana also to furnish and install certain watermain and fittings <br />including a gare valve and a gate box at each of these locations and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Paul Water Department is to furnis);l and inspector <br />who shall inspect the work done by the City and also the material and work- <br />manship of the private contractor. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village '-'ouncil of the Village of <br />Roseville does hereby request the City of St. Paul Water Department to <br />proceed with this work and also to furnish the above Lentioned inspector <br />on this project during such time as it is in actual progress and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of St. Paul ~ater Department be <br />reimbursed by the Village of Roseville for any expenitures made in <br />connection with this project and that such payment be maEie to the Water <br />Department of ~t.
