<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD January 27, 1975 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, <br />the 27th day of January , 1975, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen <br />Brennan, Curley, Demos and Hess <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Brennan <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6207 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is being represented in negotiations <br />with Local No. 320, Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement <br />Employees Union by the Metropolitan Area Managers Association Management <br />Bargaining Committee, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Local No. 320 requested and was granted mediation regarding <br />1975 contract negotiations, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Local No. 320 has petitioned the Bureau of Mediation Services <br />to certify that an impasse exists, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bureau of Mediation Services has certified that an impasse <br />does exist and has requested final positions, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under Minnesota Statutes annotated 179.61 binding arbitration <br />is required when an impasse exists with organized essential employees and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the question of essentiality has not been determined regarding <br />these employee groups, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is inappropriate to respond to the request of the Bureau <br />of Mediation Services for final position until the question of essentiality <br />is determined, and <br />
