<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, October 24, 1994, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, P. Johnson, Mastel, Wiski, and V. Johnson and the following <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9127 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION NO. 9033 <br />IMPROVEMENT P-ST-SS-W-93-10 <br />LINCOLN DRIVE AND COUNTY ROAD C-2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 9033 dated May 24, 1994, ordered the construction of City Improvement P-ST- <br />SS-W-93-10 consisting of the reconstruction of Lincoln Drive from Lydia Avenue to Terrace Drive and <br />County Road C-2 from Lincoln Drive to Snelling Avenue by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete <br />curb and gutter, sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, signal modifications, and necessary appurtenances; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to state statute, the contract for the work must be awarded within one year from the <br />date of the original council action ordering the improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to state statute, all right-of-way necessary for a project must be acquired prior to final <br />approval of plans and authorization of funds for state cooperative agreement projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to delay the award of contract until the right-of-way negotiations have been <br />completed; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that in <br />accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council amends <br />Resolution 9033 extending award of bid date for Project P-ST-SS-W-93-10 from November 24, 1994, to June <br />30, 1994. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Mastel and <br />upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, P. Johnson, Mastel, <br />Wi ski, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
