EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD: February 24, 1975 * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 24th day of February, 1975, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Demos, Hess and Brennan; and the following members were absent: none. Member Demos introduced the following resolu- tion and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6216 A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN PUBLIC, PLATTED STREETS WITHIN VIKS ADDITION. WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said streets in the City of Roseville should be vacated, and; WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said streets; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: The City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public streets over the property described as follows: All that part of Fernwood Street and Service Drive contained within viks Addition, according to the plat thereof in Ramsey County, except that portion of Service Drive located Easterly of a line described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 6; thence northwesterly to a point on the north right-of-way line of said Service Drive located 210 feet east of the northwest corner of said plat and there terminating.
