<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - February 24, 1975 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held <br />at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 24th day of February, <br />1975, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Curley, Demos, Hess and Brennan <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Demos introduced and moved the adoption of the follow- <br />ing resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6224 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council authorized a classification and <br />compensation study for those City employees who are not provided for <br />under any plan or bargaining contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such study has been completed and it is intended <br />that a classification and compensation plan be established for such <br />employees; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville that the plan entitled "Position Classification and Pay <br />Plans For Selected Municipal Positions in Roseville, Minnesota," dated <br />February, 1975, be amended as follows: <br /> <br />On Page 8 of the Plan, delete all language after <br />"reclassification and pay level determinations", thru <br />the end of line 11 and substitute as follows: <br />"The City Manager shall be accountable to the City <br />Council for the overall administration of the class- <br />ification and pay plan and will report on such adminis- <br />tration annually or oftener, as requested. Changes in <br />the structure of the classification and/or changes in <br />the pay plan salary ranges will be submitted to the Council <br />for approval." <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Hess and upon vote being taken thereon <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />
