EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA HELD - February 24, 1975 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Demos, Hess and Brennan and the following were absent: None. Member Demos introduced and moved the adoption of the follow- ing resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 6224 WHEREAS, the City Council authorized a classification and compensation study for those City employees who are not provided for under any plan or bargaining contract; and WHEREAS, such study has been completed and it is intended that a classification and compensation plan be established for such employees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville that the plan entitled "Position Classification and Pay Plans For Selected Municipal Positions in Roseville, Minnesota," dated February, 1975, be amended as follows: On Page 8 of the Plan, delete all language after "reclassification and pay level determinations", thru the end of line 11 and substitute as follows: "The City Manager shall be accountable to the City Council for the overall administration of the class- ification and pay plan and will report on such adminis- tration annually or oftener, as requested. Changes in the structure of the classification and/or changes in the pay plan salary ranges will be submitted to the Council for approval." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hess and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All present
