<br />( <br /> <br />MAYOR LINEBARGER: Any further comments by members of the <br />Council? I will entertain a motion either to approve or dis- <br />approve. <br /> <br />Councilman Curley then introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 6228 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. ST-74-l4B UNDER AND PURSUANT <br />TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 AND <br />COMBINING IMPROVEMENTS ST-74-14 AND ST-74-l4B <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />;. <br /> <br />1. In accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes <br />1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public <br />hearing pursuant to published notice, on the proposed construc- <br />tion of Improvement No. ST-74-14B for the area generally <br />bounded by State Trunk Highway 36 on the south, bounded on the <br />north by a line 200 feet north of Minnesota Avenue, bounded on <br />the west by the west line of Capitol View Hills Addition <br />extended northerly, and bounded on the east by Rice Street by <br />the construction of storm sewer and necessary appurtenances, as <br />described in the notice of hearing at a cost presently estimated <br />to be approximately $22,422.00, and substantially in accordance <br />with the preliminary engineer's report as to the feasibility <br />thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; <br />and having considered the views of all interested persons and <br />being fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement ,shall be constructed <br />and financed, and special assessments shall be levied therefor, <br />pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that the area proposed to be <br />assessed therefor shall include the property as described in <br />the notice of hearing; and that the City Public Works Director <br />is hereby 'directed to prepare and submit to the Council final <br />plans and specifications for the construction of said improve- <br />ment. <br /> <br />2. On February 10 the Council also ordered the construc- <br />tion of Improvement No. ST-74-14 and directed the City Public <br />Works Director to prepare and submit to the Council final plans <br />and specifications for the construction of that improvement. <br /> <br />3. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares <br />that Improvement No. ST-74-l4 and Improvement No. ST-74-14B <br />shall be instituted and conducted as a single combined improve- <br />ment in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />6 <br />
