<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD March 17, 1975 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on <br />the 17th day of March , 1975. at 7;30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Demos, Hess, Brennan and Curley <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Demos introduced the following Resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6239 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF LEASE ON <br />LEXINGTON AVENUE LIQUOR STORE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 3, 1965, the City of Roseville <br />and LaRose Corporation entered into a lease agreement <br />whereby Roseville would lease the store located at 1740 North <br />Lexington Avenu~ Roseville, Minnesota, for the purposes of a <br />retail liquor store. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said lease expires on May 3, 1975, and at <br />Roseville's option, Roseville may enter into a five (5) <br />year extension of said lease, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the past, there have been mechanical <br />problems with the furnance located in said store and LaRose <br />Corporation has promised that if the lease is renewed, the <br />furnance will be repaired or replaced at LaRose Corporation's <br />expense. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the <br />City of Roseville to enter into such a lease renewal. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />On the condition that the furnance in the premises <br />is repaired or replaced at the expense of the LaRose <br />Corporation, the lease agreement between the City of Roseville <br />and LaRose Corporation covering the Roseville liquor store at <br />1740 North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, will be <br />
