EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD APRIL 14, 1975 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to of the City Council of in the City Hall, 2701 on April 15, 1975 due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held North Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Hess, Brennan, Curley, and Demos and the following were absent: None Member Hess introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6246 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been advised that Ramsey County is seeking state legislature approval for an Adult Detention Center, and WHBREAS, the Ramsey County Board has made all reasonable efforts to re-evaluate and modify its proposal in response to comments and inquiry, and WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Board has made all reasonable efforts to inform municipal officials of the proposed facility, and WHEREAS, the City Council of Roseville recognizes the need for such a facility; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota, endorses the need for an Adult Detention Center and urges the Ramsey County Senate and House legislative delegations to favorably consider a facility. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager forward copies of this resolution to members of the Ramsey County Senate and House legislative delegations and to the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Brennan and upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against same: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
