<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD APRIL 21, 1975 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2701 North <br />Lexington Avenue, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 21st <br />day of April, 1975, at 7:30P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Hess, Brennan, Curley and Demos <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Demos <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6252 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has learned that <br />legislation (H.F. 838) has been introduced into the Minnesota <br />Legislature to permit the advertising of off-sale liquor prices, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the profits of the Roseville Municipal Liquor <br />Store has been diminished in part by repealing the fair trade law, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREA~ it is believed that the profits would be further <br />diminished by permitting the advertising of off-sale liquor prices, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the decreasing profits will have an adverse <br />affect on municipal financing <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville <br />is opposed to H.F. 838 which would permit advertising of off sale <br />liquor prices and that copies of this resolution be forwarded to <br />the Roseville legislative delegation. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption <br />was duly seconded by Member Hess <br />thereon, the following voted in favor <br />and the following voted against same: <br /> <br />of the foregoing resolution <br />and upon vote being taken <br />thereof: All present <br />None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
