<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR ~1EETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, 'MINNESOTA, HELD July 7, 1975 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br /> <br />and held at the City Hall in said City on the 7th <br /> <br />day of July, 1975 <br /> <br />at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Demos, Hess, Brennan and Curley <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Nembe r <br /> <br />Demo s <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOiI NO. 6278 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY OF RA~1SEY AND THE STATE OF <br />~UNNESOTA INSTALL TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON RICE STREET HI THE AREA OF COUNTY <br />ROAD B <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />\4HEREAS, Rice Street carries a considerable volume of traffic <br /> <br />and the cross street of County Road B and the i ntercl1ange of Trunk Hi ghway 36 <br /> <br />compound the conjestion in the area; and <br /> <br />lmEREAS, numerous accidents involving both property damage and <br />personal injury have occurred in this location in the past b/o years. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the County of Ramsey and the State of r~innesota, <br /> <br />are hereby requested to install traffic signals on Rice Street in the area of <br />County Road B. <br />
