<br />pr:SC'~Lr .'TIn,':- ;\ii-I <br /> <br />APPLICA TIO;,; FOR GR/\NT TO ACQUIRE OPEN-SPACE LAND <br /> <br />HERFAS Title VII of the Housing Act of 1961 provides for the making <br />of grants by the Housing and Home Finance Administrator to States and local <br />public bodies to assist them in the acquisition of permanent interests in <br />land for open-space purposes where such aC'luisition is deemed essential to <br />the proper lonp:-range development and weLfare of urban areas in accordance <br />with plans for the allocation of land to such purposes; and <br /> <br />WilERb\S the Village of Roseville desires to acquire Fee Simple [state <br />to certain land known as Site 17 in the Village of Rosevi lIe bounded by <br />Lexington Avenue on the \Jest, County Road B 2 on the South, \':estern Avenue <br />on East and County Road C on the North, which lane!, in accordance with the <br />Federal Aid for Parks and Open Space adopted by the Village of Roseville, is <br />to be held and used for permanent open-space land as Parks and 11,ecreation <br />areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS it is estimated that the total consideration to be Daid for <br />tile acquisition of said interest will be $2,042.03: <br /> <br />NOV,', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF HOSEVILLE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That an application be made to the IIousin~~ and Home Finance Agency <br />for a grant in an amount authorized by Title VII of the Housinr- :\ct of 1961, <br />which amount is presently estimated to be $40,840.60, and that the Village of <br />Roseville will pay the balance of the consic1eration for the acquisition of such <br />interest and the total of all related costs from other funds available to it. <br /> <br />2. That !'layor Richard McGee is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to file such application with the I-iousing and Home Finance Agency, <br />to pruviJe additional information and to furnish such documents as may be <br />required by said Agency, to execute such contracts as are re~lired by said <br />Agency, and to act as the mlthorizeJ correspondent of the Village of Rosevil1e. <br /> <br />3.
