<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE HELD FEBRUARY 11, 1963 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on February 11, 1963 <br />at 8:00 p.m. The following members were present: <br />'Iayor ';c~e~~, Trustees Curley, Coodrich, ~:c1~T,;nLer Cl.nc1. !:ust~.,."^D.nn <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />i'.:cne <br /> <br />Member c'ocdrich <br />resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 701 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY <br />CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN <br />LANDS IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING A RIGHT OF <br />WAY FOR THE WIDENING OF COUNTY ROAD "C", AND DIRECTING <br />THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH <br />PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of Roseville <br />has been advised by competent engineers that it is to acquire lands <br />for a right of way for the widening of County Road "C"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the present owners and other persons having <br />an interest in said required lands have indicated that they are unwilling <br />to negotiate with the Village on a reasonable basis for the acquisition <br />of the same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state <br />that the Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said <br />property by condemnation under the power of eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
