<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-third day of January, 1995, at 5:00 o'clock <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Wiski, and Goedeke and the following were <br />absent: V. Johnson. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9151 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, CITY PROJECT ST-95-07 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, SEH, has <br />prepared plans and specifications for the following improvement and has presented such plans and <br />specifications to the Council for approval: <br /> <br />ST-95-07 <br /> <br />Grass Lake Water Management Organization-American Legion Pond <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, <br />and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement for bids for ST -95-07 shall be published as required by law, shall <br />specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that <br />the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works on February 9, 1995, at <br />which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be <br />considered by the City Council~ and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the <br />Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten <br />percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Wiski and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Mastel, Wiski, and Goedeke . <br />and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
