<br />NOTICE OF SALE <br />$1,250,000 WATER IMPROVEMENT BONDS <br />SERIES 3 <br />VILLAGE OF HOSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers of the <br />village Hall in said village at 7:00 o.clock P.M. on Monday, <br />the 27th day of May, 1963, to receive, open and consider <br />sealed bids for and award the sale of its negotiable coupon general <br />obligation Water Improvement Bonds, Series 3, in the principal <br />amount of $1,250,000, to be issued to pay a part of expenses <br />incurred and to be incurred in the construction of Water Improvement <br />No. 62-1, pursuant to the provisions and under the authority of <br />Minnesota Statutes 1961, Chapter 429. Said bonds will be dated <br />June 1, 1963, will bear interest at the rate or rates to be <br />designated by the successful bidder in integral multiples of 1/4 <br />or 1/10 of 1% per annum, payable June 1, 1963, and semi-annually <br />thereafter on December 1 and June 1 of each year and will mature <br />serially on June 1 in the years and amounts as follows: <br /> <br />$250,000 <br />50,000 <br /> <br />1964 <br />1965 - 1984 <br /> <br />The bonds maturing in the years 1974 through 1984 will be callable <br />at the option of the village on June 1, 1973 and any interest <br />payment date thereafter at par and accrued interest plus a premium <br />of 2% if prepaid on or before December 1, 1977, and without <br />premium if prepaid on or after June 1, 1978. Of the bonds <br />outstanding at the time of redemption, those bearing the highest <br />coupon rate will be prepaid first, in inverse order of their serial <br />numbers. <br /> <br />Principal and interest will be made payable at such banking <br />institution in the United States named by purchaser. The bonds will <br />be issued in denomination of $1,000 or $5,000 each, as desired by <br />purchaser. Purchaser is reGuested to advise the village of <br />denomination and paying agent desired within 48 hours after the <br />sale. The village will furnish, without cost to the purchaser, and <br />within 30 days after date of sale, the printed and executed bonds <br />and approving legal opinion of Messrs. Dorsey, Owen, Marquart, <br />Windhorst & West of Minneapolis, Minnesota: and Messrs. Peterson & <br />Popovich of St. Paul, Minnesota, together with certificate stating <br />
