<br />NOTICE OF HEARING ON ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT NO, 63-3 <br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota <br />will meet in the Auditorium of the Fairview Junior High School in said village on <br />Tuesday, October 8, 1963 at 8:30 o'clock P.M. to hear, consider and pass upon any and <br />all written or oral objections which may be offered with respect to the proposed special <br />assessments for Water Improvement No. 63-3. The proposed assessment roll is now on file <br />and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village <br />Clerk, The entire amount assessed against each parcel of land will be payable, unless <br />prepaid, in twenty (20) equal consecutive annual installments, the first of such <br />installments to be payable with general taxes for the year 1963, collectible with such <br />taxes during the year 1964, The first installment will be payable with interest at the <br />rate of five percent (5%) per annum on the entire assessment from the date of the <br />resolution levying the same to December 31, 1964, and each subsequent installment <br />will be payable with one year's interest at said rate on all unpaid installments, except <br />that no interest will be charged if the entire assessment as to any parcel is paid at <br />the office of the Treasurer within thirty (30) days from the date of adoption of the <br />assessment roll. <br /> <br />The general nature of Water Improvement No. 63.3 consists of the construction of <br />distribution and feeder mains for the distribution of water within the area described <br />below. <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed for the improvement includes the properties <br />situated within the following described boundary: <br /> <br />Commencing at the SE corner of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Sec 4, <br />T 29, R 23; thence north for a distance of 1,325.9 ft. MOL to the NE <br />corner of sd SE 1/4 1/4 of Sec 4; thence west for a distance of 7,622 <br />feet MOL, to the CL of the Minnesota Belt Line Railway (in See 5); thence <br />SWly along sd CL to the North Line of Sec 8, T 29, R 23; thence west along <br />sd north line of Sec 8 to the west line of Sec 8. thence south along sd <br />west line to the CL of the Minnesota Belt Line Railway Company. thence NEly <br />approximately 1,580 ft HOL along sd CL to its intersection with the north <br />line of the south 1/4 of Sec 8; thence east approximately 5,836 ft MOL along <br />sd north line of the south 1/4 of Sec 8 and Sec 9 to the Southeast corner of <br />the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec 9; thence north along the east line of the <br />west 1/4 of Sec 9 to a point 500 ft south of the north line of Sec 9; thence <br />east 435 ft; thence north 500 ft to the north line of sd Sec 9; thence east <br />along the north line of Sec 9 to the beginning. <br />and <br />all that part of Hwy 35W (394) lying within the Nly 3/4 of Sec 5, T 29, R 23. <br /> <br />Dated: September 9, 1963 <br /> <br />BY OnDER OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br /> <br />Richard IV, Turnlund <br />Village Clerk <br />
