<br />EXTRACT OF \IINUTES OF MEETING nF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF 11-113 VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE HELD Sentember 9, 1963 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rej"ular meetin(1 of t1-e <br />Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />a.nd held at the Villarre Hall in said Village on September 9, 1963, at <br />8:00 p.rl. The followinr members were Dresent: <br /> <br />;'Iayor 'lcGee, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Kustermann and <br />Schrenker <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Kustermann introduced the fOllowing resolution and moved its <br />adontion: <br /> <br />RESOLUTInN NO. 832 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, good planning requires the preservation of SOTI'e natural area.s, <br />free from bui lclin.r:s and concentrated use, and <br /> <br />lVHERliI\S, Park Site 15 j,s an ideal area for the preservation of the <br />natural concli tions, and <br /> <br />lVl!F:REAS, other areas are more suited than Park Site 15 for recreation <br />facilities and near said Park Site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE CmNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Park Si te 15 shall hereinafter be known as 1\11. 11 ow Pond Park. <br /> <br />2. Park Site 15, knOl'ffi as Willow Pond Park, is to be used for the <br />purpose of preservinrr natural conditions within its boundaries and no recreational <br />facilities, ball fields, etc., will be constructed on such park site. <br /> <br />The Dotion for the adontion of the forerroinr resolution was duly seconded. <br />by rlember Schrenker, and upon a vote beinrr held, the -Followinp: voted i.n favor <br />of the resolution: <br /> <br />All :1Tesent <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly nassed and adonted. <br />
