<br />3. The Council shall meet at the time and place designated <br />in the form of notice herein contained for the purpose of <br />receiving, opening and considering sealed bids for and awarding <br />the sale of said bonds; and the Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of said <br />meeting to be published in Ramsey County Suburban Life, the <br />official newspaper of the Village, and in the Commercial West, a <br />financial newspaper published at Minneapolis, Minnesota, which <br />notice shall be in substantially the following form: <br /> <br />NOTICE OF SALE <br />$3,265,000 <br />TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS <br />SERIES 1 <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village <br />of Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, will meet in the village <br />hall of said village on Wednesday, the 22nd day of April, 1964 <br />at 12:00 o'clock noon for the purpose of receiving and considering <br />sealed bids for the purchase of $3,265,000 general obligation <br />Temporary Improvement Bonds, Series 1, of the Village, said <br />bonds to be dated May 1, 1964, to bear interest at the rate <br />designated by the successful bidder, payable November 1, 1964 <br />and semiannually thereafter on May 1 and November 1 in each <br />year, all of said bonds to mature on May 1, 1966. <br /> <br />All bonds of this issue are subject to prior payment in in- <br />verse order of serial numbers on November 1, 1965, at par and <br />accrued interest. Both principal and interest will be payable at <br />any suitable bank or trust company in the United States designated <br />by the successful bidder within 48 hours after award. The village <br />will furnish, without cost to the purchaser, the mimeographed or <br />printed and executed bonds in denominations of $1,000 each, or, <br />at the purchaser's request within 48 hours after award, in any <br />larger denomination, and the unqualified approving legal opinion <br />of Messrs. Dorsey, Owen, Marquart, Windhorst & Nest of Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota, and Messrs. Peterson & Popovich of St. Paul, Minnesota, <br />together with the customary no litigation certificate. Delivery <br />will be made anywhere in the United States within 30 days after <br />acceptance of the bid, without cost to the purchaser. <br />
