EXTRACTOFMŒNUTESOFMŒETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of April, 1995, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Wiski, P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9173 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, CITY PROJECT P-94-10 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, has prepared plans and specifications for the following improvement and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: P-94-1O Lincoln Drive :ITom County Road C-2 to Terrace Drive and County Road C-2 from Snelling Avenue to Lincoln Drive THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for P-94-1 0 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works on May 16, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council~ and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
