<br />EXTRACTOFMŒNUTESOFMŒETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of April, 1995, at 5:30 o'clock <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9173 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, CITY PROJECT P-94-10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, Short, Elliott, <br />Hendrickson, has prepared plans and specifications for the following improvement and has presented such <br />plans and specifications to the Council for approval: <br /> <br />P-94-1O <br /> <br />Lincoln Drive :ITom County Road C-2 to Terrace Drive and <br />County Road C-2 from Snelling Avenue to Lincoln Drive <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official <br />newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for P-94-1 0 shall be published as <br />required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for <br />such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public Works <br />on May 16, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and <br />subsequently be considered by the City Council~ and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and <br />filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond payable to the <br />Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Mastel and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Wiski, P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, <br />and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
