<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCn.. <br />CITY OF ROSEVlLLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of April, 1995, at 5:30 o'clock <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wi ski, P. Johnson, Mastel, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the <br />following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 9180 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1995 CONTRACT B <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications <br />thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Wednesday, Apri119, <br />1995, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying <br />with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />Central Landscaping <br />T. Schifsky & Sons <br />Tower Asphalt, Inc. <br />Northwest Asphalt <br />Valley Paving, Inc. <br />Midwest Asphalt Corporation <br />Ashbach Construction Co. <br /> <br />$1,345,129.60 <br />$1,399,390.77 <br />$1,464,515.60 <br />$1,465,965.28 <br />$1,488,424.54 <br />$1,539,921.24 <br />$1,563,363.30 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota is the lowest responsible <br />bidder at the tabulated price of$I,345, 129.60; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Central <br />Landscaping, Inc. for $1,345,129,60 in the name of the City ofRoseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in <br />the office ofthe City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained <br />until contracts have been signed. <br />
