<br />EXTRACT OF MINlITES OF tv1EETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, tvlIN1\TESOTA - HELD DEC8<1BER 8, 1975 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held <br />III said City Hall, 2701 North Lexington Avenue, in said City on <br />~1onday, December 8, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />COlmcilmen Hess, Brennan, Curley and Demos <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />tvlember Linebarger <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLlITION NO. 6324 <br /> <br />RESOLlITION SUPPORTING SPECIAL LEGISLATION <br />ALLOWING THE ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL TO <br />SERVE AS 1HE HOUSING AND REDEVELO~1ENT <br />AUfHORITY <br /> <br />WHEREA..C;, the City COlmci1 of the City of Roseville met on <br />~~rch 31, 1975, to consider the establishment of a Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority pursuant to the provisions of the Minnesota <br />Housing and Redevelopment Act, Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.411 <br />Seq. and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, facts were submitted to the City Council showing <br />that there was a need for Housing and Redevelopment Authority to <br />function in the City of Rosevi11e, and <br /> <br />\~REAS, the City Council adopted Resolution declaring the <br />need and establishing a Hoseville Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the needs of the conununi ty can be better met if the <br />Roseville City Council serves also as the local Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority; <br /> <br />NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br />that it supports legislation that nobvithstanding the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statutes 1974, Sec. 462.425, SUbd. 6 or any other law to <br />the contrary, the City Council of the City of Roseville may detel~ine <br />
