<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, May 8, 1995, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson and the following <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9183 <br /> <br />VARIANCE FROM STATE DESIGN STANDARDS <br />CIVIC CENTER DRIVE, CITY PROJECT P-95-12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approved 1995 Pavement Management Program includes the mill and overlay of Civic Center <br />Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Civic Center Drive is designated as Municipal State Aid roadway No. 240, S.A.P. 160-240-02; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Civic Center Drive does not currently meet the minimum State standard of a 300-foot radius for a <br />30 mph curve; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to utilize Municipal State Aid dollars, the roadway must meet the current State design <br />standards or receive a variance from Municipal State Aid office. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, that the City <br />requests a variance ITom Municipal State Aid Design Standards for a 300-foot radius for a 30 mph horizontal <br />curve. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Mastel and <br />upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, <br />Mastel, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
