<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CI'lY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD APRIL 26, 1976 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held <br />in said City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on <br />MOnday, April 26, 1976, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Hayor Demos, <br />Councilman Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Councilman Curley introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6363 <br /> <br />RESOLTJfION URGING RAMSEY COUN'lY SUPPORT <br />OF AN OPTICOM SYSTEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has continuously supported <br />the implementation of a County-wide Opticom system <br />in Ramsey County since its incpetion approximately <br />three years ago; and <br /> <br />M1EREAS, the City of Roseville is still convinced that such <br />a system will greatly reduce the hazzards of <br />operating emergency vehicles for both the operators <br />and County citizens; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS ,most signalled intersections within the boundaries <br />of the City of Roseville are under the direct <br />jurisdiction of Ramsey County; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Roseville that <br />it strongly urges the Ramsey County Board to continue <br />its participation in the Opticom Program on a County- <br />wide bas is; and <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the County implement such a program at the <br />earliest possible date. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Hess and upon a vote being taken <br />
