EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of May, 1995, at 5:30 p.m. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9187 NORTHWEST YOUTH , FAMILY SERVICES WHEREAS, the process for distribution of CDBG funds was changed for 1995; and WHEREAS, this change has promise for a more equitable and accountable method of distribution in the future, but further review of the process highlights the needs for some modifications; and WHEREAS, this year's process has put our desire to meet the housing needs of low to moderate income constituents in competition with the social service needs of these same constituents; and WHEREAS, we bel ieve this priorities and we believe intent of those priorities; violates the intent of the following request the stated CDBG to be wi thin the NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the city of Roseville requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners act to reallocate $100,000 of CDBG funds to apply toward the capital request of Northwest Youth & Family Services; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $50,000 of the contingency amount set aside by Ramsey County CDBG be applied in a like manner. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Goedeke, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Goedeke, wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
