<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 8th day of May, 1995, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, <br />Mastel, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9187 <br /> <br />NORTHWEST YOUTH , FAMILY SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the process for distribution of CDBG funds was changed for <br />1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this change has promise for a more equitable and accountable <br />method of distribution in the future, but further review of the <br />process highlights the needs for some modifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this year's process has put our desire to meet the housing <br />needs of low to moderate income constituents in competition with the <br />social service needs of these same constituents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, we bel ieve this <br />priorities and we believe <br />intent of those priorities; <br /> <br />violates the intent of <br />the following request <br /> <br />the stated CDBG <br />to be wi thin the <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the city of <br />Roseville requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners act <br />to reallocate $100,000 of CDBG funds to apply toward the capital <br />request of Northwest Youth & Family Services; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $50,000 of the contingency amount set <br />aside by Ramsey County CDBG be applied in a like manner. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Goedeke, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Goedeke, wiski, Mastel, <br />and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
