<br />Extract of Minutes of H~eting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey county, Minnesota <br /> <br />June 14, 1976 <br /> <br />pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />held in the City Hall in said city on Monday, June 14, 1976, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br />Councilmen Anderson, curley, Grauel and Hess: and the fOllowing <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />After a discussion of the views and comments of the persons <br />present at the public feasibility hearing of May 10, 1976, <br />Councilman Anderson then i.ntroduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 6387a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVE~mNT NO. SS-W-P-75-20 UNDER AND <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATt1l'ES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />SS-W-P-75-20 consisting of the construction of sanitary sewer <br />mains, watermains, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous paving <br />and necessary appurtenances generally in the area bounded on <br />the west by Hamline Avenue, on the east by a line 100 feet east <br />of Fernwood street, on the north by Oakcrest Avenue, and on the <br />south by Brooks Avenue extended west to Hamline Avenue, as <br />described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated <br />at $131,422.29, and substantially in accordance with the pre- <br />liminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on <br />file in the office of the city Manager: and having considered <br />the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in <br />the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that <br />said improvement shall be constructed and financed, and special <br />assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Chapter <br />429, and that the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall <br />include the property as described in the Notice of Hearing. <br />The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit <br />to the Council the final plans and specifications. <br />
