<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVlLLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-second day of May, 1995, at 5:30 <br />o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 9189 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CITY PROJECT P-94-10 <br />LINCOLN DRIVE EXTENSION AND COUNTY ROAD C-2 CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on May <br />16, 1995, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with <br />the advertisement: <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR <br /> <br />BID AMOUNT <br /> <br />Ashbach Construction. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $616,292.05 <br />. Amt Construction. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $645,853.20 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Ashbach Construction is the lowest responsible bidder at the base bid amount <br />of$616,292.05; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Ashbach <br />Construction for $616,292.05 in the name of the City ofRoseville for the above improvement <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits <br />made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be <br />retained until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Wiski and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson and the following voted <br />against: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
