<br />EXTRACT OF MrnNUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, the twenty-second day of May, 1995, at 5:30 <br />o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and V. Johnson and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />FAIRVIEW WATER TOWER REPAINTING, CITY PROJECT M-95-03 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, Maier, <br />Stewart and Associates, has prepared plans and specifications for the following improvement and has <br />presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: <br /> <br />M-95-03 - Repainting ofFairview water tower <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rosevil/e Review, the official <br />newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for M-95-03 shall be published as <br />required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment <br />for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public <br />Works on June 20, 1995, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City <br />Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council; and that no bids will be considered <br />unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bid <br />bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Wiski <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wi ski, <br />Mastel, and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
