<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD ON DECEMBER 13, 1976 <br /> <br />PURSUANT TO DUE CALL AND NOTICE THEREOF, A REGULAR MEETING OF <br />the City Council of the Ci ty of Rosevi lle, Ramsey County, 1'1i nnesota, was <br />duly held in the city hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on the Thirteenth day of December 1976, at 7:30 o.clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Anderson, Curley, Grauel and Hess <br /> <br />and the following were absent: NOne <br /> <br />11embe r Anderson <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 643B <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE CITY OF ROSEVIlLE ENTERING <br />WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT Of HIGHWAYS <br />AGENCY, CONTRACT FORM NO. 30774 for 1~17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PURSUANT to Minnesota Statutes. Section 161.36, the <br />City of Roseville desires the Commissioner of Highways of the State of <br />Minnesota to act as its agent for the purposes of that statute in accepting <br />federal aid on its behalf for road construction and in contracting for <br />the construction, improvement or maintenance of roads financed either in <br />whole or part with federal monies; and <br />WHEREAS, 11.5. 161.36 Subdivision 2, requires that the terms and <br />condition of the agency be set forth in an agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 161.36, <br />Subdivision 1 through 6, Minnesota Statutes, the Commissioner of the State <br />of Minnesota Highways be appointed as agent of the City of Roseville to <br />let as its agent, contracts for the construction of portions of Municipal <br />Streets, for the year 1977, and the Mayor and the Manager are hereby <br />authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City Council to execute <br />
