<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD December 13, 1976. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on <br />December 13, 1976. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor ~s, <br />Council.rren Hess, Anderson, CUrley and Grauel <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Anderson introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6441 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION <br />UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE <br />FOR THE COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND PONDING OF WATERS, AND DIRECTING <br />THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville <br />deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of <br />the City to acquire the following described land in fee simple <br />for the collection, storage, and ponding of waters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Roseville has <br />been advised by competent advisers and committees that the <br />following described real property is feasible to construct, <br />maintain, operate and repair underground storm water lines <br />within said area and to excavate, fill and slope as may be <br />necessary for ponding and storage of surface waters, together <br />with ingress and egress; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has been unable to <br />negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Under the Statutes of the State of Minnesota, <br />the City has the power to take and acquire such property by <br />power of eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby deems it necessary and convenient <br />that the property described below be acquired by the City of <br />Roseville in fee simple for the collection, storage, and ponding <br />of waters on all of said property being situated in the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, and State of Minnesota, to-wit: <br />
