<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - HELD JANUARY 31, 1977 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the Ci ty of Rasevi1l e, ~li nnesota, was held in the city ha 11 <br />at 2660 Ci vi c Center Dri ve, Rosevi 11 e, t.'1i nnesota, on J~onday, the 31st day <br />of January, 1977, at 7:30 0'c10ck p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen <br />Curley, Grauel and Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Hess <br />t/lember Anderson i ntraduced the fl oO\'1i ng reso 1 uti on and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6458 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO ACQUIRING CERTAIN <br />TAX FORFEITED LAND FOR RECfIVIN~ STORM WATER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been notified that Lot 1, Block 1, <br />Owassodale, is tax delinquent land in the City of Roseville and, <br />lmEREAS, the property i~i"; low and wet and only marginally buildable <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pub 1 i c Works Di rector and the City Council bel i eve the <br />property to be suitable for receiving stonn water and it would be in the best <br />public interest to acquire said property for same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, AS FOLLOWS: <br />The Mayor and Manager are authorized and directed to prepare an <br />application for conveyance, a copy of which is attached hereto and, <br />The r'tanager is instructed to fi 11 out all necessary forms to <br />facilita te the application for conveyance of tax forfeited land to the City <br />of Rosevi1le for the purpose of receiving storm water. <br />
