RESOWl'rON NO. 6473 Minutes of Meeting of City Council city of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota April 4g 1977 Pursuant to due call and notice thereofg a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville. Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, April 4g 1977 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, and Councilmen Hess, Andersong Curley, and Grauel: and the following were absent: None. Also present were Mr. James Andre, City lYlanager: Robert Bell, City Attorney: Charles Honchellg City Public works Director: and Peter S. Popovich, City Bond Consultant. MAYOR DEMOS: The meeting will come to order. The first hearing is that of Project 8S-76-l8 in the area of Old Highway 8 and County Road D for sanitary sewer. MR. ANDRE: I have the affidavit of publication For the Notice of Hearing and the Certificate of p~iling the hearing notices on this project. MAYOR DEMOS: Mr. Honchell, would you care to present the summary of the nature of the improvement. MR. HONCHELL: This improvement was petitioned for by the owners of what is to be J's Restaurant. Actually it's about a four and a half acre site on the corner of County Road D and Old Highway 8. The petitioner represented this large triangu- lar area. As we went into the plan and studied various ways it could be served, we found there were potentially other uses for the sanitary sewer ultimately in addition to the petitioned site. There are two parcels across the street that do not have sanitary sewer facilities at this time and also a rather large commercial parcel which is across the street as well. After discussion with the petitioner, it was determined that heg at the present time, was particularly concerned with serving address 2380 which is where the restaurant will be. Therefore. he requested that that be served as soon as possible, but he wasn't nearly as interested in serving the other two areas. so we tried to work out some al- ternative ways to serve this site.
