<br />E2cr'RACI' OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVIILE, MINNESarA - HEID APRIL 11, 1977 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota <br />was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on <br />April 11, 1977. <br /> <br />'!he following rrenbers were present: Mayor raros <br />Councilrren Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel ' <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />~r Curley <br />and noved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RFSOLtJI'ION NO. --6fl.8 <br /> <br />AUl'HORIZING THE MAYOR TO FILE 'IHE 6 YEAR ROOEVIILE <br />CAPITAL IMProvEMENr PR()(;JAAM WITH '!HE STA'IE OF <br />MINNES<YI'A, OFFICE CF LCX:'AL AND URBAN AFFAIRS OF THE <br />STATE PLANNING AGENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Lan::1 and Water Conservation Fund Act <br />(IAW:ON) and the State Natural Resources Fund provide for grants <br />to assist local public bodies in the acquisition and developrent <br />of outdoor recreation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rules and Regulations for LAWCON and the <br />State Natural Resources Furrl provide criteria that applications <br />rnust meet; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order for the proposed project to be eligible <br />for approval, there must be proof that it is part of a carrpre- <br />hensive outdoor recreation plan and 6 year action program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has a 6 year action <br />program, which includes Chatsworth Park <br /> <br />NCW, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, that the Mayor of the City of Roseville <br />is hereby authorized to file this 6 year action program for parks <br />and recreation irrproverrents with the State of Minnesota, Office <br />of Local and Urban Affairs of the State Planning Ag:=ncy. <br /> <br />'The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by M:mber Anderson and upon a vote being taken <br />the following voted in favor thereof: All t <br />presen <br />
