EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JUNE 27 , 1977 * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, said city on the 27th day of June , 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: . Counci1.nen Curley, Hess and Anderson ktlng Mayor Grauel, and the following members were absent: Ma yor DeIros Member Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6508 WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District has received Grant No. S 804730-01-0 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the improvement of the Long Lake chain of lakes within the Rice Creek watershed including the Lake Johanna and Lake Josephine sub-watersheds; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville believes that certain specific water improvement projects effecting the Lake Johanna and Lake Josephine sub-watersheds winhin the City of Roseville appropriately may be included in said Grant and that said improvements will be beneficial to the public health, convenience and welfare of the citizens lof the City of Roseville. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, authorizes the Mayor and the Manager to execute the Petition, attached hereto, requesting the Managers of the Rice Creek Watershed District to make the certain improvements set forth therein. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Member Hess and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor of the Resolution: All t presen and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
