EXTRACI' OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNE'SO'I7\ HELD JULY 11, 1977 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular rreeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 11th day of July, 1977, at 7:30 P.M. The following rrembers were present: Derros, Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel and the following were absent: None Merrber Hess and rroved its adoption: introduced the following resolution RESOWTION NO. 6511 RESOLurION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL HCUSING AND REDEVELOPMENr AUTHORITY TO APPLY FOR REHABILITATION GRAN!' FUNDS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HClvIE IMPROVE- MENT GRANT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF IDSEVILLE WHEREAS, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, State of Minnesota, has been authorized to undertake a program to provide grants of funds to property owners for the purpose of housing re- habili tation; WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to assist low incare hareowners in making repairs to their hares for the purpose of correcting defects directly affecting the safety, habitability, and/ or energy usage of the property; WHEREAS, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, State of Minnesota, will accept applications from housing and redevelopment authorities desiring to administer these hone irrproverrent grant pro- gram funds; WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has all the powers arrl duties of a housing and redeveloprrent authority pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 473.193 to 473.201 under the provisions of the Minnesota Housing Redeveloprrent Act, Minnesota Statutes, 1976, Sections 462.411 to 462.711; and
